Nigeria’s alté scene musical trio DRB LasGidi have brought forth their highly-anticipated album, “Pioneers” after so many years since their last body of work was released.
The 12-track album features a handful of artistes from the alté community – Santi, Odunsi The Engine, TEMS, GMK, Genio, Adey, Wani, Prettyboy DO, Lady Donli and the heavyweight Nigerian rapper Olamide. The album tracks were produced by young Nigerian producers such as Pheelz, Adey and GMK.
On the album, the trio of Boj, Fresh L and Teezee, mirror their roles as arrow heads in the effort to connect the Alté sound with mainstream listeners and take it to a newer level.
