Emerging nearly 3 years after his project, Soulfro, Mannywellz dives further into the realms of Afro Soul and R&B with the entirely self-produced EP titled “Mirage”.
On the EP, his powerful harmonies, playful cadences, and unique instrumentation give a subtle nod to his Nigerian roots and feature mesmerizing vocals from an array of heavy-hitting artists.
Mannywellz invites his listeners to float through the highs, lows, and in-between of relationships and attachment. The dreamlike state Mannywellz puts us in while singing “every time I’m with you I feel like I’m flying” captures the essence of his performance throughout the EP – flirting with reality and illusion, a Mirage.
