British rising star, Darkoo comes through with the visuals for her new single titled “Pick Up“.
The ATG produced song has Darkoo expressing her feelings about a love interest whose attention she constantly craves but ends up being ignored despite her efforts. The relatable low tempo tune appeals to listeners who may have encountered similar lack of reciprocity in their romantic pursuits.
In the anecdotal video for Pick Up, Darkoo plays the role of an eager lover who makes several phone calls and visitation to her love interest, in a bid to rekindle their love affair, but has her love appeal turned down. Interestingly, Darkoo played both sides of the couple caught up in the situationship, the male lover wearing a wife beater, tracksuits and a gold chain, and the female who dons a long blonde wig.
The 3-minutes video was directed by Kelvin Jones.
