Nigerian-born, UK-based Afropop artist, Mukhy releases the visuals of “My Race” from his forthcoming project titled ‘Posh Nation’, a 9-track body of work created during the lockdown.
The single depicts Mukhy’s desire to forge his own path and make progress regardless of the situation and listeners can’t help but feel motivated. He teams up with label mate, Glitch on this feel-good Afro-influenced street anthem.
The Nosachii-directed video gives a classic representation of the typical lifestyle of ghetto dwellers. It includes shots of a barber, hairdresser, mechanic, a gang playing cards, children playing by the seashore, relaxation at a local bar, kids playing football, and Mukhy joining in the fun. The video is a true depiction of how the wheels of life keep moving whether you decide to run your race, or not.
