Nigerian Entertainer, Tosin Robeck has taken her career to the next level with a persona defining project titled The Next Chapter; she heralds the EP with its opening single, “One”.
The Next Chapter is apparently symbolic of a new phase in Robeck’s journey as an artist, which is why on the Duggie produced, One, she veers off regular course by tapping into Afro-house’s rich bass and synth-pop foundation to support her mesmeric articulation of a self-written narrative centered around unrequited love.
Robeck’s vocals coupled with her affinity for rhyme-driven lyricism are two selling points likely to announce The Next Chapter to the rest of the world and with these features prominent on One, the EP’s quality, is undoubted.
