“Searching” is a touching tell-it-all of what led to her present state of mind; it is a creation of a self reflective emotional rhetoric about who she is, it questions her identity and existence. The single does an adequate job of preparing fans and listeners for her forthcoming six-track EP, ‘Wild‘.
Produced by GMK, the single is a product of sad thoughts that emerged from the crevices of her mind. ‘Searching’ has a strong thematic leaning of tragedy, however, it makes up for the happiness void lyricism in its up-beat tempo that gives room for a bit of rhythmic head nodding.
