Nigerian prolific singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has released a brand new single titled “Ogogoro”.
“Ogogoro” is a single from her forthcoming EP ‘Queen don come’ which is slated to drop anytime soon. The mid-tempo single flaunts the pop/R’n’B side of Yemi Alade, who further compliments the tune with some ragga feel and delivery.
Produced by Dr Amir, the single is about an intoxicating love which she compares to “Ogogoro”, the West African alcoholic drink extracted locally from palm trees. To illustrate her point, she sings, “You are my type of wine/ Original ogogoro/ Sweet shekpe you dey high me o/ Original ogogoro/ Slim shady/ You are my type of wine/ Original ogogoro/ Sweet shekpe you dey high me o/ Original ogogoro/ Slim daddy/ You are my type of wine”.
