Rising Nigerian singer and songwriter, Midas The Jagaban comes through with the video of her classic single, “Paigons” featuring South African singer, Sho Madjozi.
“Paigons” is the 6th track on Midas’ debut project, ‘Midas Touch’ EP which was released last year. The focal point of the song is the exercise of caution in our relationship with others to avoid being snaked, especially when our fame, talent and money attracts human attention. To buttress the point, Sho Madjozi sings, “A Paigon is a fake one, he’s a new one acting like a day one… A Paigon is a hater, a human acting like a snake, fuck all the Paigons in life“.
Directed by WG Films, the video portrays both artistes and their supporters in their flamboyant attires and vehicles, disturbing the high streets of Lagos, Nigeria.
