Canadian based artist, singer and songwriter, Jeffrey Benson has released a 10-track Afro-Fusion project titled “Some Love & More”.
“Some Love & More” is his sophomore project, a follow up to his 2020-released debut EP, ‘Sorry Dad I Make Music’. The Afro-Fusion project is a sonically pleasing body of work with brilliant lyricism, flow and instrumentation.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the project, Jeffrey admits the influence of musical greats on the project’s direction, as he stated, “I listened to Fela, Michael Bolton, Marvin Gaye, Labaja, Wiz, Burna, Drake and J Hus during recording breaks.” The new project, “Some Love & More” is proof that Jeffrey is no longer the young man bothered with his dad’s concerns, as was the case in his first EP, he has shown consistency, growth, focus and willingness to explore beyond his musical horizon.
