Rotimi & Fireboy DML Deliver the Cinematic Video For "Weapon"

Nigerian-American singer, Rotimi has released the official music video for “Weapon”, a single featuring Afrobeats’ maestro, Fireboy DML.

“Weapon” is a song from Rotimi‘s debut album ‘All For Nothing’ released back in August 2021. Currently, on his ‘Apollo Tour’ in the United States of America, Fireboy DML is extremely hot on the charts. Aside ‘Peru Remix (featuring Ed Sheeran) making its Billboard debut, the singer has been featured on a good number of songs since the latest quarter of 2021.

Rotimi, who currently shares the same management outfit, Empire with Fireboy, is a Nigerian-American actor and RnB singer-songwriter who rose to prominence after featuring in the popular series, Power. He was born in Maplewood, New Jersey, to Nigerian parents; his father an investment banker of Yoruba origin and his mother of Igbo origin, working for the government. He attended Columbia High School, where he was on both the varsity basketball team and the choir. He continued his studies at Northwestern University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Business in 2010.

The collaborative effort, “Weapon” was produced by Harmony Samuels and Edgar Etienne while the music video was directed by Damian Fyffe.
