Basking on the global success of ‘Love Nwantiti‘ and ‘Emiliana‘, emo-Afrobeats singer and songwriter, CKay releases a new single dubbed “Maria” featuring German group, Silly Walks Wiscotheque, in a bid to continue to his seamless run.
It seems CKay must’ve hacked the strategy for international appeal, a first listen would convince you that “Maria” would be highly accepted in and beyond Africa. It is quite intentional and it follows the Love Nwantiti/Felony/Emiliana pattern. Another Love Nwantiiti? Time will tell.
