Nigerian Street-hop sensation Bella Shmurda has released a new love-themed single titled “Philo” featuring fellow Afrobeats superstar, Omah Lay.
The ‘Dagbana Republic’ act released the Afropop single “Philo” on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 as a preview of his forthcoming debut studio album, ‘Hypertension’. The single is a love tune that combines Omah Lay’s melodic lyrics with Bella Shmurda’s street hop baselines.
On the single, Bella Shmurda shows his romantic side and he mentions a girl named Philomena, to whom he is prepared to express his undying love as he sings: “Nothing wey I no go do for my Philo (Philo), Rest on me like pillow (pillow)/Omo to po, Ten kilo (ten kilo), Nothing wey I no go do for my Philo (Philo)/Rest on me like pillow (pillow), Omo to dun, Ten kilo (ten kilo)/I dey like you no be whining”.
