American Rapper, Playboi Carti features Pglang head honcho, Kendrick Lamar on three tracks off his junior album, “Music” released on March 14, 2025, through AWGE and Interscope Records.
Kendrick is featured on ‘Mojo Jojo’, ‘Back Door’ and ‘Good Credit’.
On ‘Mojo Jojo’, prolific rapper Kendrick opens up the track with introductory flows as he states: “Ayy, Carti, I need that back to the future Carti / I need that four Alien Carti / I need that beep, beep, beep, beep” making referencing to other worldly futuristic goals.
To further compliment the chemistry established on the album’s 5th track, both rappers duet on the chorus of ‘Back Door’ as they go back and forth singing: “Turn the lights down, I’m slidin’ through the backdoor, backdoor / Members only, ridin’ through the backdoor, backdoor”.
K-dot finalizes the link up with recognition of Carti’s rise in the industry as he chants: “Cardo my evil twin, Carti my evil twin”.
Both artistes complimented each other perfectly well on the 3 collaborative tracks on the album.
