Nigeria street pop sensation, Bella Shmurda opens his account for the year with new single titled “Verily”.
“Verily” is a song centred on love and romantic exploits as Bella sings about being completely awed by a love interest to the point where it’s hard for him to focus on anything else. No matter how much he tries, she features prominently on his mind and subconscious, and he hopes that his love gestures will be appreciated and reciprocated without equivocation.
Co-directed by Pikture & Bella Shmurda, the video brings the song to reality with scenes depicting Bella cruising with his mistress and savouring every moment spent with her. In a certain scene, Bella is in the studio singing his heart out to appease his lover with alternate shots of him on a boat depicting his hopeless romantic ruminations.
