International Superstars, Ayra Starr and Wizkid link up on new single, “Gimme Dat”. The new single marks their second collaboration following the success of their ‘More Love, Less Ego’ collaboration, ‘2 Sugar’.
“Gimme Dat” is Ayra‘s second single of 2025, following ‘All The Love’ released in February, and Wizkid‘s first musical release since his sixth studio album ‘Morayo’, which came out last November via Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records.
Produced by VybeO and Mikabeatz, “Gimme Dat” samples Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige’s 2000 hit “911”, which reached No. 6 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was nominated for best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocal at the 2001 Grammy Awards.
