Multi-disciplinarian Creative, Obongjayar returns with his sophomore album, “Paradise Now”, a fearless and genre-blending project from one of the hottest diasporic names on the scene.
“Paradise Now” is a follow up on his previously released debut album, ‘Some Nights I Dream of Doors’. On the new album, Obongjayar fuses Afrobeat, soul, punk, electronic, and spoken word into a seamless and immersive experience, delving into themes of identity, spirituality, and personal evolution.
Consisting of 15 tracks, the album features British Singer, Little Simz on Track 6, “Talk Olympics” with the production credit featuring several producers including Adrian X, Aire Atlantica, Alex Goose, Beach Noise, Buddy Ross, Hether, HYLNU, Joe Harrison, Karma Kid, Kwes Darko, Loubenski, Monomite, ThisizLondon and Yeti Beats.
