Afrobeat icon Seun ‘Bigbird’ Kuti and Vector have put out a new single titled “Opps” featuring Odumodublvck.
The project was released across all streaming platforms on Friday.
“Opps” is a satirical street sermon. It is a callout to everyday oppression, from landlords to governments, hustle culture to heartbreak.
Despite their distinct musical styles — Seun’s horn-fueled activist spirit, Vector’s cutting lyricism, and Odumodublvck’s unpredictable energy — the trio delivered a masterpiece in the track.
“Opps” is a track off ‘BigBird X Tha Viper’, Seun and Vector’s forthcoming joint extended play (EP) which is scheduled for release on September 5.
