Nigerian DJ and producer Spinall has released his seventh studio album, “ÈKÓ GROOVE”, via TheCAP Music.
“ÈKÓ GROOVE” is a love letter to Lagos, blending Afrobeats with other global genres, and it’s already setting dancefloors ablaze.
Spanning 48 minutes, “ÈKÓ GROOVE” fuses Afrobeats, amapiano, and reggae across its 14 tracks. The album opens with the titular “ÈKÓ GROOVE” featuring Ayinde Bakare, setting a rhythmic tone, while “Struggle” with Summer Walker, Buju Banton, and Jaz Karis delivers soulful depth. Collaborations with Wizkid, Niniola, and Teni showcase Spinall’s knack for blending local and international flair, with production credits hinting at his hands-on role. The result is a danceable yet immersive journey, reflecting his tours since Topboy (2023).
