Nigerian singer-songwriter Bella Alubo has released a captivating new album, “Love is War”. This 15-track LP marks a significant milestone in her musical journey, showcasing her evolution as an artist and her commitment to exploring the complexities of love and relationships.
“Love is War” delves into the multifaceted nature of love, blending genres such as Afropop, R&B, and alternative sounds to create a rich auditory experience. The album features collaborations with notable artists, including Ycee, Rotimi, and 1da Banton, each bringing their unique flair to the project.
Speaking on the new album, Bella stated: “You have to fight for what you believe in and for me, that’s love. Nobody likes wars but we learn that wars have achieved peace. Love is War is a poetic statement that holds endless meanings.. I want everyone to feel like everything is going to be alright, feelings are something we all share, music is a global language and love is always worth it.”
