Afro-fusion artist, AttiFaya has released a brand new single, “Shege” featuring rapper, Blaqbonez.
On “Shege”, both artists express themes of privation and defiance over a smooth blend of Hip-hop and Afrobeats. Built around the song title which denotes suffering in pidgin english, AttiFaya‘s verses detail years of struggle, sustained concentration and persistence, while Blaqbonez‘ verse paints an imagination of street life, ambition, and personal loyalty.
The collaborative record reminds listeners of prevailing realities with an undertone of pride and persistence, an immense prompt to persist even in the face of difficulties.
