Afro-house singer and songwriter, Niniola has released a brand new single, “Raining (O Dun Mi)”.
“Raining (O Dun Mi)” is an emotional tribute to her late husband, Michael Chiedu Ndika, who passed away in May 2026 after they had been privately married for 13 years. On the new single, she pours out her heart, addressing the bereavement with a heavy load of grief as she sings: “when the curtain falls, before the show is done, you were meant to stay but you went away cos its raining, oh my heart is breaking, i just want my baby, then you said he’s in a better place.”
Produced by Niphkeys and Kingleebeats, “Raining (O Dun Mi)” captures Niniola in a deeply reflective space, translating emotion into music with the honesty and vulnerability that have always defined her artistry.
