Alte artists, DEEWAVE and Tori SZN team up to deliver a brand new single dubbed “Gbomo”.
The new single, “Gbomo” is centred around themes of financial aspirations and romantic interests, the single talks about not being interested in materialistic relationships whilst emphasizing the importance of understanding and communication in a romantic relationship. Produced by Perlz, the artists mention different Nigerian tribes and currencies as metaphors for diversity and wealth, highlighting their focus on genuine connections over superficial wealth.
Directed by Kola Oye, the accompanying visual is a highly cinematic portrayal of DEEWAVE and Tori SZN in an apartment with a damsel in red. The video alternates between smoke screen scenes, couch cuffing scenes and in-door aesthetic scenes, with daytime and moonlight effects deployed to align with the mood and tonality of the song.
