Ugandan singer-songwriter, Joshua Baraka has released a brand new single titled “YoYo”.
“YoYo” is is a multilingual love song that combines English, Luganda, French, and Lingala to tell the story of transitioning from a casual situationship into a committed romance. The song serves as the lead single for his upcoming ‘Recess 2’ EP (scheduled for October 2026) and drops right ahead of his nationwide Uganda tour.
Accompanying the single is a 3 minutes, 15 seconds video directed by Mafe Ink. The video mirrors the track’s lyrical theme, focusing on the uncertainty, chemistry, and excitement of two people navigating through love.
