Berlin-London-based DJ / Producer Collective, bees & honey feature Omah Lay, Gyptian, and BEAM on their latest single, “As We Get High”.
“As We Get High” is a cross-continental record that finds Europe, America, Africa and Jamaican on the same track as their exports all contribute to the world-building of the sensual number. Over the bees & honey production, Nigerian singer, Omah Lay unloads his signature vocals and registers his melodic presence, while Jamaican-American singer and rapper, BEAM and Jamaican Dancehall artist, Gyptian give the record additional Caribbean flavour and direction with their stellar rendition.
Accompaying the single is a 2 minutes, 57 seconds video shot by AN Films. The video brings the thematic expression of the song into existence as the singers get high whilst performing the record innah di yardie with bare pretty gyaldem, with occasional transitions to outdoorsy biker man scenes with gyaldem riding.
