UK based producer, JAE5 unites rapper, J Hus and dance hall maestro, Skillibeng on new single, “Take Nobody”.
On “Take Nobody”, rapper J Hus opens the track with buttery flows and self-assuring lyrics, as he raps: “I won’t leave one penny, Imma take all the money / Take gamble, you can hear rumble in my tummy / It’s like why am I gonna laugh when nothing ain’t funny? / All that sitting down, waiting round, no it’s not for me / Expensive! Can’t let none of them girl there touch this Holi / Pack my bags, fly somewhere tropi / Wan catch this flight then come quick hurry”. Dance hall trap artist, Skillibeng steps in right after the hook and lays a stellar verse over the JAE5 production with J Hus singing the hook at intervals.
Accompanying the release is an animated action packed music video that draws viewers into an immersive world of inter-tribal war between four tribes – the bionics, the powered, the restricted and the de-restricted, with each tribe fighting to restore order following a broken pact.
