Nigerian music pioneer, Mr Eazi and Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter, Moliy team up on a brand new Afrobeats single, “Comfort”.
“Comfort” is a mid-tempo, bouncy Afro-fusion record that sits at the intersection of Afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop, and R&B, bringing back Mr Eazi‘s signature laid-back Banku Music rhythms. The track features a playful back-and-forth dynamic, pairing Mr Eazi‘s relaxed, mellow delivery with Moliy‘s brighter, contemporary vocal.
Accompanying the single is an Afful Genius-directed visualizer that is set around a sun-soaked, bright, and breezy summer aesthetic. The video mirrors the song’s mid-tempo, lighthearted, and flirtatious energy, serving as a warm, vibrant accompaniment that gives the song its foundational Banku Music color.
