Nigerian-British artist, Kida Kudz and the London-based Afro-swing collective, NSG team up for a hip-hop/rap single, “7th Memba”.
“7th Memba” is a conceptual track that playfully references Kida Kudz as the “7th member” of the six-man lineup of NSG. Social posts teasing the song highlighted it as a link-up between the “Area Boyz” (NSG) and the “Jiggy Boyz” (Kida Kudz’s movement).
Accompanying the music release is a 3 minutes, 40 seconds video that leans heavily into the signature Lagos-to-London aesthetic that both Kida Kudz and NSG are known for. The visual presentation heavily features dynamic dance floors and intense choreography. It mirrors the song’s fast-paced, bouncing energy, with dancers and performers moving to the Afro-swing and hip-hop cadences.
