Legendary Nigerian artist and YBNL Nation boss, Olamide returns with a surprise music release, titled “Burukutu”.
“Burukutu” is a highly infectious Afrobeat/Afrosounds record that serves as the fourth track on his highly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘Time and Space’. Named after burukutu — a traditional, culturally rooted fermented grain alcoholic drink popular in parts of Nigeria — the track showcases Olamide’s signature blend of indigenous Yoruba language, street slang, and global references.
Accompanying the audio release is a visually striking official music video directed by the famous TG Omori. The video introduces a surreal experience, complete with high-energy stylized dancers, intricate choreography, brass instruments, and a distinct barbershop motif.
