Controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley comes through with a brand new single, “O Dun” featuring Zinoleesky.
The ‘Soapy’ crooner announced the song’s release alongside its visuals on Thursday after weeks of teasing on social media platforms. He said the song is a peep into his upcoming studio album titled ‘God’s Timing Is The Best (GTTB)’, which is billed for later this month.
“O Dun” does not just ape the randy lyrics of Naira Marley’s ‘Coming’, the rhythm follows the same sonic pattern produced by the same producer Rexxie. The 30-year-old singer waxes about his sexual prowess and how he can give sweetness to girls during the exercise. His saucy verse blends pleasantly with the instrumental’s horns and percussion, giving a danceable sound. On his part, Zinoleesky does not fail to deliver, matching the randiness of his music label boss with his sonorous voice and prodigious lyricism.
Directed by Ibidun Oladapo, the video opens with the two artistes surrounded by a gaggle of ladies dancing seductively. It effectively uses strobe lights and costumes as the two singers finish by dancing in a tastefully decorated car.
