Produced by maverick producer, WalahiSteph, “Mainland” is not just a chronicle of Loti’s life but a fine blend of his classic “RnB Boy” style of music and danceable afrobeats elements over his ever soothing voice. Over the pensive production, Loti sings about coming from a humble background, broaches the topic of a typical day in Lagos and intersperses the record with inspirational prayers.
The record is the first offering from Loti‘s upcoming EP ‘Gorimapa Gangsta Vol 1’. Its accompanying video was shot and directed by Adeolu (Visuals By Luminous) in the city of Lagos, Nigeria.
