Loti Shares New EP, “Gorimapa Gangsta Vol. 1”

Nigerian RnB singer and songwriter Loti returns with a new body of work titled “Gorimapa Gangsta Vol. 1”.

“Gorimapa Gangsta Vol.1” or “GG Vol. 1” follows the release of ‘Mainland’ the lead track of the new EP. The 6-track EP features Talksiick and Kasheefah on tracks 3 and 4 respectively.

“GG Vol.1” encapsulates every side of Loti’s artistry and our shared experience as humans in Nigeria and the world, the thrill, love, the hustle, betrayal, and a host of feelings we all relate to.

Loti has personified his physical bald look, his experiences, and his emotions by creating the character ‘Gorimapa Gangsta’, a mental and physical representation of the artiste’s reality while recording the tape. “Gorimapa” is Nigerian slang for bald, but the “Gangsta” bit is quite interesting, Loti finds being a thriving independent artiste not restricted by genre very “gangsta”, he has had to build from the ground up with very minimal resources and that’s pretty gangsta.
