International Superstar, Davido releases his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “5ive”, today, 18th April 2025.
“5ive” is curated as a victory lap of not just his pursuits, but that of the entire contemporary African music soundscape. On the album, Davido is intentional about eliminating gaps between cultures and sounds as he employs some of the sonic fusions that permeated his 2023 album ‘Timeless’.
The 17 tracks album features genre-spanning, cross-continental collaborations with appearances from Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Victoria Monét, Chris Brown, Shensea, Becky G, and fellow Nigerian stars Chike, ODUMODUBLVCK, Omah Lay, and Victony.
Production credits for the album include Shizzi, Marvey Muzique and DJ Maphorisa.
