Abuja based rapper, Odumodublvck delivers the visuals for his album single, “Legolas”.
“Legolas” is the opening track on his recently released, ‘WAR IS COMING’ mixtape. The single sees Odumodublvck recounting his days of humble beginning as he raps: “All the women wey I follow, them been do me one kind / I no blame them, I been dey poor / Sapa don’t care, e dey wound us / But now (Kala) / I dey fire like I’m Legolas, Legolas, Legolas (See them, oh) / The king of my hood, I’m the principal, principal, principal (I dey give them hope) / Ayy, my pain is all over now, over now / I made my mummy proud (I dey give am hope) / Because I dey fire like I’m Legolas (Oh), Legolas, Legolas (Dem put head) / Ayy, Legolas, Legolas (Them pretend)”.
Directed by MRWHXWHO & GUN TE MI, the video is a depiction of Odumodu in a conference / press briefing setting as he tells his story of struggle and eventual triumph. Other transitional scenes portray him with his mom, fellow stars, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Declan Rice, Phyno, Seun Kuti, Skepta and more.
