Nigerian singer and rap emcee, ODUMODUBLVCK drops 16-track mixtape “The Machine is Coming” ahead of his scheduled performance at the 2025 Headies and premier music awards.
The mixtape blends Afro-fusion, hip-hop, and his signature Okporoko Rhythms— often used to describe his unique style of high-life melodies inspired by drill and grime influences. The 16 track-project consists of features from Victony, Shallipopi, BOJ, Rondodasosa, Vector, Falz, Ajebo Hustlers, and Afroselecta.
Based on commercial strategy, “The Machine is Coming” serves as a precursor to ODUMODUBLVCK’s forthcoming studio album, “Industry Machine”, which is set to be released later this year. The appetising mixtape give an insight on what to expect from the full body of work.
