Earlier today, Manchester United on its official youtube page posted a clip of possible contenders for best goals ever scored by players who have signed and played for the illustrious football club including legendary players like Wes Brown, Eric Cantona, Casemiro, Andy Cole, Nani, Javier Hernandez and fast rising Manchester United signee, Amad Diallo.
Having analysed the clip, MMC Nation is of the opinion that the goals indeed rank among the best goals ever scored by Manchester United players, however, from an historical perspective and based on an online survey conducted amongst a number of hard core Man Utd supporters from across the world, particularly those born within the period of 1990 till about 2009, none of these goals can compete with brilliant-moment-world-shaking-ground-breaking goals scored by legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Robin Van Persie, Van Nistelrooy, and even youth academy graduates such as Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Dan James, Jesse Lingard and Adnan Januzaj.
Additionally, legendary older generation players such as Teddy Sherringham, Sir Bobby Charlton, Dennis Law, George Best and several others have scored more impressive goals throughout the history of the club.
Considering the length of the video clip which is just One minute, 28 Seconds, the intent of the video clip is questionable as it fails to chronicle the best of the best moments by players who have donned the prestigious United jersey in cold snowy, wet rainy and dry sunny seasons.
