Afrobeats star, Ayra Starr and Wizkid release the visuals for their steaming hot single, “Gimme Dat”.
“Gimme Dat” is a sensual single released earlier in April as a follow up to their previous ‘More Love, Less Ego’ collaboration, ‘2 Sugar’. Creatively shaped by vybeO and Mikababeatz, the catchy cut is built around a sample of Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige’s classic ‘911’.
Co-directed by Ayra Starr and Annie Bercy, the video depicts Ayra as a tantalizing music lover wearing a red dress that gives that emoji as she rolls around on a life-sized vinyl with alternate scenes portraying Wizkid as a lover man facing temptation in a room full of women whilst promising to lean towards monogamy. “Loving you dey put me in a different mindset/Girl, na only you go make me stick to one girl,” he croons. The hitherto separated pair meet at the video’s end after setting an expensive-looking car on fire.
