Tanzanian R&B singer, Juma Jux has released the official music video for his latest single, “God Design” featuring Nigerian rapper, Phyno. The single which was originally released on the same day as his traditional wedding to Priscilla Ojo, creates a historic chronicle of the full circle celebration of their unique love.
Blending Eastern and Western African musical styles, Juma combines his smooth Swahili vocals with Phyno’s dynamic Igbo rap verses to create “God Design”. The celebratory track, “God Design” resonates with the thematic expression of love being divinely ordained and orchestrated, a sentiment that resonates throughout the video.
Directed by Director Kenny, the video showcases vibrant scenes and storytelling that reflects the song’s message of destined love. The video features cameo appearances from Priscilla’s mother Iyabo Ojo, her friends Chioma Ikokwu and Enioluwa Adeoluwa, as well as Liam, the son of the late Mohbad.
Juma’s siblings and uncle also appear, thereby adding to the sense of home and shared celebration.
