New York-based rapper, singer, songwriter and producer, Leaf features Deto Black on new single, “Trust Funds”.
As the name suggests, “Trust Funds” is a single about a significant other who is a trust fund baby as the hook goes: “Trust Fund baby, you can trust your fund with me”. Both artistes croon sultry lyrics about their sex appeal and irresistible attractiveness.
Leaf opens up rapping: “I walk in the room giving cont about making movie, they love how i stunt / Smoke hoes like i’m french, i’m lit like cigarette / Pass it off, i’m so blunt / If it’s chick that he needs, i’m the chick that he wants / Feel like treasury i’m holding his funds / If I just look at it, point at it, we gat it, hitting it bae, your man is so fun”.
The CitoOnTheBeat track finds Deto complimenting Leaf‘s opening verse with lyrics about her soft girl lifestyle funded by a trust fund baby as she sings: “How many chanel couture, how many bags from Dior, how many trips from shore to shore, get on my phone, trying to buy me some more, do the maths!”
The song is an anthem for every material girl looking to be in their soft girl aura during the summer holiday season.
