Nollywood star and producer, Uche Montana achieves major digital milestone with the premiere of the highly anticipated sequel “Monica 2” which hit 6.4 million views within the first 24 hours of its release on YouTube.
The movie builds on the plot of the original “Monica” with its deep storyline, relatability, and compelling performances. Early reactions on social media platforms have been overly positive, with fans and viewers describing the film as captivating, cinematically appealing, well-directed, and resonant.
“Monica 2” explores themes of love, family, sacrifice, struggle, and resilience with greater depth and intense cinematography. The movie features outstanding performances from Uche Montana alongside Blessing Onwukwe, Chidinma Ugwu, Prince Buchi and Joseph Momodu.

The original “Monica” recently became Uche Montana‘s most watched movie with 18 million views, setting a new personal record for her YouTube channel while the current milestone set by the sequel further strengthens Uche Montana’s position as one of the most consistent and high-performing creators in Nollywood’s YouTube ecosystem.
