Nigerian singer-songwriter, Mr Eazi collaborates with American producer, Dre Skull and Jamaican songsmith, Cham on a new project, “Hide Your Love”.
“Hide Your Love” is a 3-track mini-EP that features Jamaican Dancehall heavyweight, Vybz Kartel. The project opens up with ‘Hide Your Love’, a playful, hypnotic dancehall track featuring a throbbing, minimalist riddim layered with Mr Eazi’s playing the lover boy with relaxed, Afro-inspired bedroom come-ons. The second track, ‘Remember That’ is a throwback to the minimalist dancehall of the late ‘90s, offering a nostalgic record with Mr Eazi unloading his soft melodious signature style while Cham turns up with his rough-and-tough lyricism. Closing the project, is the previously released track, ‘Lambo’ featuring the legendary Vybz Kartel.
With the mini-EP, Mr Eazi and Dre Skull once again bridge the gap between Africa and the Carribeans, this time assisted by Cham (formerly Baby Cham) as they deliver contemporary Afro-Carribean influenced sounds.
