“2nd Step” is a 12-track project arrives after years of preparation and it sees the artist delivering the energy of “a wounded lion with a bit of love”. The project showcases a personal and mature direction for the Assin Fosu singer, blending themes of resilience, thanksgiving, vulnerability, and self-confidence.
Musically, local dialects dreamily sit alongside pidgin invocations laid over textured production that honors highlife, Afro-pop, and modern Afrobeats.
