Nigerian artist, Tolibian has released a deeply personal, soul-stirring single, titled “I’m Okay”.
“I’m Okay” is a track inspired by real-life adversity. Tolibian recently opened up about losing his TikTok account, a platform representing years of his hard work. To make matters worse, while trying to recover it, he was scammed by an individual promising to restore his access. Instead of letting the frustration weigh him down, Tolibian channeled his pain, resilience, and quiet reassurance directly into this music.
Co-produced by prominent hitmakers Killertunes, Drilly, and SWITCHY BEAT, the track features a warm, understated pop and Afrobeats rhythm designed to keep his reflective vocals at the forefront.
Directed by a very mad film, the accompanying visualizer echoes a powerful, universal mantra of reassurance directed at anyone else processing their own heavy losses: “Tomorrow when you’re feeling down, when you’re feeling like it’s over, remember how brave you are, oh my brother”.
